Many Brookmans Park residents believed that Little Miss Muffet really existed. They believed that she was the daughter of a good doctor named Dr. Thomas Muffet and was the one who composed this short cute nursery rhyme. However, one theory contradicts such belief since the oldest print out of the rhyme was date 1805 and at that time, Dr. Muffet had no children of his own.
